FIRST LOOK: Happy Skin launches its own skincare line
MANILA, Philippines – Happy Skin is taking its beauty mission to the next level by offering skincare products that's just right for the Filipino complexion. The new line is called Happy Skin Beauty, and it simplifies skincare to a 3-step process.
So far, the line addresses different skin concerns with two skincare series: anti-aging, and oil control.
The anti-aging series, recommended for those with normal, dry, or combination skin, sources its products from Japan, where the people don’t seem to age. The anti-aging series is all about delivering hydration and skin renewal while still staying light on the skin so it can be worn under makeup. Pro tip: put on the moisturizer before you put on makeup to get a dewy finish.
The anti-aging series includes a hydrating facial wash that has a low-pH formula to match the skin’s natural low-pH levels.
After that, there is the time reversing serum, which penetrates deep into the skin to keep it moisturizes and to stimulate cell turnover.
Completing the anti-aging series is the regenerating moisturizer, which keeps skin hydrated, stimulates collagen production, and prevents wrinkles.
The oil control series, ideal for those with normal, oily, or combination skin, was made to – as the name suggests – control oil and keep acne at bay. Sourced from the beauty mecca that is Korea, the oil control series is a way to keep the skin from being greasy while still making sure it’s moisturized.
The oil control series includes a skin smoothening gel facial wash which contains salicylic acid, vitamin C, and Centella Asiatica extract to deep clean pores and reduce impurities.
Step 2 in the oil control series is the mattifying ampoule, which also contains the same ingredients as the facial wash to keep the grease away from the face.
Rounding out the oil control series is the oil controlling moisturizer, which is light and absorbs quickly, to keep the skin matte and hydrated.
