IN PHOTOS: blk scents' IG-worthy pop-up at BGC
MANILA, Philippines – If there's one brand that almost never ceases to amaze – or pause – when it comes to innovation is local beauty brand blk cosmetics.
Since launching in 2017, blk has come out with one makeup collection after another. Recently, they launched a "Universal" line with a campaign that features men and women of different ages and complexions.
The brand's latest launch is their most unique yet. After launching blushes, complexion products, and countless lip colors, blk now offers a scents line.
In a press release, the brand said the 4 scents are inspired by Korea's seasons – winter, spring, summer and autumn. That blk draws inspiration from our Asian neighbor is no surprise. It has launched a make-up collection and a good percentage of their products are made in Korea.
There's Summer, a mix of pomegranate, magnolia, peony, and musk; Winter, an intoxicating mix of peppermint, green tea, oakmoss and white amber; Autumn, which features lily as its top note blended with fresh wisteria, red peony, and sweet musk; and Spring, a sweet scent made of apple tree leaves, yellow freesias, linden blossom, and white orris.
The body scents retail for P599 for a 250 ml bottle and P349 for a 120 ml bottle.
The brand also opened a 220 square meter pop-up at Market! Market! featuring IG-worthy rooms that encapsulate each scent. Here's a sneak peek into every room:
The body mists are sold online via the blk website and Lazada or in-store at Watsons and SM Store Beauty Section outlets. The pop-up runs until November 30, 2019. – Rappler.com
