LOOK: Maine Mendoza collabs with MAC for new red lipstick

MANILA, Philippines – Maine Mendoza is releasing her second shade of lipstick for MAC, and the cosmetics brand has given fans a first look at the new shade.

Maine was at one point known for her signature bright red Ruby Woo lips and the new shade is like a grown up version of that look – darker, more vampy, with berry and wine tones.

The new shade comes in lipstick and lipglass formulas. There’s no official release date yet, but MAC said that it will be available in stores and online.

MAC said that Maine is the first MAC Maker to do a second collaboration for their brand. MAC Makers are social media stars and influencers around the world who are chosen by the brand to create their own shades of lipstick.

Maine’s first release as a MAC Maker was a surprising choice for Maine: a peachy nude shade named after her Instagram handle, “@mainedcm.” It was released in September 2018. – Rappler.com
