Want to collect all 3 mugs? Here's how

MANILA, Philippines – Starbucks Philippines is set to launch a collection of mugs and Starbucks cards inspired by the country’s 3 island groups, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The “Island Series” collection will be available in stores on June 12 – our 120th Independence Day – and will feature the colors and symbols of the Philippines’ 3 island groups.

The Luzon mug is a matte vibrant blue with gold foil, and features a city skyline that represents the business districts of the island group, according to a release.

The Visayas mug is inspired by the area’s beaches. It features a debossed artwork of Sampaguita flowers and coconut palm tree leaves in gold foil against a matte yellow ochre background.

The Mindanao mug is a red Bordeaux and features a glossy decal of the iconic Vinta boat with a colorful sail.

All of the 16-ounce ceramic mugs have the Starbucks logo laser engraved on the side and in a collector’s box. Each of them also have a matching Starbucks card, which are available for an initial activation of P500.

Want to collect them all? You’ll have to travel to each island group to get them or try to snag all 3 at the airports that carry them. The Luzon mug is only available in Luzon, the Visayas mug in Visayas, and the Mindanao mug in Mindanao. Each is priced at P995. – Rappler.com
