MANILA, Philippines – In celebration of Filipino Food month this April, chefs and culinary experts are launching a series of online talks called The Philippines on a Plate, Think and Eat With Us.

The online talks includes discussions from Filipino Food as an integral part of culture to taking care of heirloom recipes and ingredients. 

The talks are scheduled every Friday and Saturdays of the month starting at 5pm. It will be streamed on the Facebook pages of Filipino Food MonthPhilippine Culinary Heritage Movement and Slow Food Youth Network Philippines.

 

In March, the Department of Agriculture and National Commission for Culture and the Arts announced the postponement of the celebration due to the rising cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, in the country.
