An up-close look at the entire Starbucks PH holiday menu and planner

MANILA, Philippines – The holidays are just around the corner, and Starbucks has once again launched its holiday menu, with returning items – and a few new ones.  

The toffee nut and peppermint mocha flavors are yearly staples, with a third flavor changing annually. This year, Starbucks adds the christmas cookie latte to the menu. 

According to the press release, it’s described as a “buttery creamy latte infused with shortbread cookie sauce, topped with whipped cream, shortbread cookie drizzle and butter cookie crumbles. Starbucks unique shortbread cookie sauce has a sweet buttery flavor and aroma.” 

Food-wise, fans will once again see returning items like the chocolate toffee nut loaf, the peppermint brownie, the gingerbread cookie, and the chocolate crepe cake, but there are a few new items. 

Notable among these are the chocolate chip cookie “stuffed with Oreo,” a chocolate truffle cheesecake, and what appears to be the most decadent of them all – a chocolate torte cake described as having “four layers of chocolate cake, mousse, meringue and marbled cake with dark chocolate ganache.”

In a cruel twist of fate (really, it’s cruel), Starbucks Philippines notes that the chocolate torte cake will only be available in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo, Naga, Gen San, Tarlac, Subic, Dagupan and Bataan. 

The savory items are not to be outdone: we’ve got our eye on that whole pot roast pie.  

The holiday items will be available from November 3, 2014 to January 8, 2015.

Along with the holiday menu, Starbucks also launched this year’s planner, which you can get by collecting stickers, awarded to customers after purchasing types of drinks.

According to the release, here are the rules: 

• A customer can avail of a Starbucks Christmas traditions planner promo card from November 3, 2014 to January 8, 2015. 
• One sticker is awarded for each Starbucks beverage purchase. 
• Holder must accumulate a total of eighteen (18) stickers – nine (9) Christmas beverages plus nine (9) core handcrafted beverages to redeem one (1) Limited Edition Starbucks Philippines 2015 Planner.

The planner comes in 4 colors (green, black, red and brown) with a personalized name tag bookmark, a coffee pin bookmark, and a chalk pen with a highlighter.
