MANILA, Philippines – One of the Philippines’ very own restaurants has made it to the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015.

Antonio’s, the famed Tagaytay restaurant featuring elegant yet satisfying dishes served in a polished, cozy setting ranks #48 on the list. It is the only entry from the Philippines.

“To be considered one of Asia’s 50 best restaurants is both an honor and a humbling experience…It is also a statement that Filipino cuisine is ready and waiting for the world,” said chef and owner Antonio Escalante in a press release.

This is another accolade added to Antonio’s impressive record since its opening in 2002; it was also part of the Miele Guide’s top 20 restaurants from 2008 to 2013.
