MANILA, Philippines – With Nicole Kidman turning up the saturation in her deep red Calvin Klein gown and pink strappy shoes, and Tracee Ellis Ross looking she was dipped in moonlight and rolled in clouds and stardust in Chanel, this year’s Emmys red carpet saw its fair share of dramatic looks – and we aren’t just talking about the gowns.

From bold hair choices to statement eyes and lips, here are some of the beauty looks we loved at the Emmys this year:

Jane Fonda turned the clock back with bangs, a high ponytail, and pink lips. Definitely, 79 years old has never looked this good.

Zoe Kravitz’s feathery pixie cut, dark brows, and subtle cat eye echoed the textures of her Dior gown. Add to that rosy nude lips, bronze cheeks, and her tattoos, and you get a look only Zoe can pull off.

Millie Bobby Brown’s slicked back pixie cut added some edge to what would have otherwise been a typical princess-at-the-ball look.
