MANILA, Philippines – Themed coffee shops are not new, but there is always something fun about going inside a shop that goes beyond serving coffee and food.
Tucked inside Alphaland Makati is Zoo Coffee, which as the name suggests, is like a zoo inside with all the stuffed toy animals scattered around the place.
Established in South Korea in 2009, Zoo opened its first coffee shop in the Philippines this year. It also has stores in China, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Here’s a look inside Zoo Coffee:
A giraffe outside the café welcomes you.
Monkeys and snakes swing on a tree.
You can even enjoy your coffee with pandas.
Tigers lounge around in the café
If you’re feeling hungry or want to pair your drinks with something filling, they have waffles, hotdogs, cakes, and bingsu – a Korean shaved ice dessert.
