LOOK: Dairy Queen has new Brown Sugar Milk Tea desserts

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Ice cream chain Dairy Queen released a new Brown Sugar Milk Tea Series on Tuesday, February 18, featuring 6 “new favorites with a milky twist,” available nationwide.

Dairy Queen is latching onto the brown sugar milk tea craze with 6 new sweet treats, starting with the Popping Boba Freeze, a blended beverage of milk tea flavor, brown sugar syrup, popping boba, and fresh milk, topped with DQ’s vanilla soft-serve and whipped cream.

It costs P99 for the 12oz size, and P119 for 16oz.

A new Oreo Freeze also exists, which has the same ingredients as the Popping Boba Freeze – just with Oreo bits mixed in. It costs P99 for the 12oz size, and P119 for 16oz.

For something a bit more milky, the Popping Boba Float is milk tea swirled with brown sugar syrup, pearls, milk, and a scoop of DQ’s vanilla ice cream. This is only available in select DQ branches, and costs P109 for the 12oz and P119 for 16oz.

For fans of DQ’s classic Blizzards, there’s the new Brown Sugar Oreo, vanilla ice cream blitzed with Oreo bits and a brown sugar syrup, and the Popping Coffee Boba, coffee-flavored ice cream with milk tea flavor, brown sugar syrup, and popping boba. 

The blizzards come in mini (P59), regular (P85), medium (P109), and large (P139) sizes.

To top off the series, DQ offers the brand-new Ultimate Milk Tea Parfait, which features layers of vanilla ice cream, brown sugar syrup, and pearls, topped with whipped cream and milk tea powder in one 12oz cup for P129. This is only available in select branches.
