It’s time to bring home the bacon…ice cream? Dessert shop The Lost Bread has made bacon ice cream possible, thanks to a curiously unconventional collab with Ate Rica’s Bacsilog.
The elements of Ate Rica’s Bacsilog best-selling bacon rice bowl are featured in The Lost Bread’s Cheesy Bacon flavor – thick, chewy bits of candied bacon and creamy cheese sauce are mixed into their signature milk-based ice cream. The Cheesy Bacon ice cream flavor is perfect for fans of the sweet-savory flavor combination. It costs P250 a pint.
If it’s just simple quezo ice cream you want, sans the bacon, The Lost Bread also has a Cheese Sauce flavor, a mildly sweet ice cream base mixed in with cheese sauce swirls and firm chunks of savory cheese. It costs P250 a pint.
The Lost Bread’s Cheesy Bacon and Cheese Sauce flavors are available for delivery via their website. Customers can also get a soft-serve version at P95 an order at The Lost Bread’s SM Megamall and SM Marilao branches.
Solo servings of the ice cream will also be available at select Ate Rica’s Bacsilog branches soon. – Rappler.com
