Obsessed with avocados? If you love the creamy fruit, not just on its own but also incorporated into desserts, check out Makati-based shop Avocadoze – their whole dessert menu features fresh avocado.

Avocadoze’s signature Avocado Frozen Tart is a creamy play on a tangy frozen cheesecake. On top of a crumbly graham crust is a frozen, solid cheesecake base that’s creamy and zesty, due to the avocado, Greek yogurt, and lemon used. The avocado flavor is subtle and mildly sweet. (FYI: it contains dairy and is meant to be stored in the freezer before serving).

It costs P420 for a 5.5″ pan good for two, and P1,200 for a 9×7 party pan good for 8 (this needs a one- to two-day lead time).

If you want something softer and milkier, don’t miss out on Avocadoze’s Avocado Tres Leches – it’s everything an avocado and milk fan would enjoy.

A soft, moist vanilla cake is soaked in 3 kinds of milk (and we mean soaked), and then topped with a thick, sweet avocado cream. You can get with 3 different toppings: cereal (P300), cashew and pistachio (P330), and chocolate ganache (P300). 

The cereal variant’s fruity taste incorporates itself into the milk, while the cashew and pistachio nuts add a nice crunch to the moist dessert.

The tres leches cakes need to be ordered two days before, as the cakes need to be soaked for that duration for maximum milkiness.

For a keto-friendly option, Avocadoze also has a sugar-free Keto Avocado Cheesecake Tart that’s made with a buttery almond crust, a tart avocado-cream cheese filling, and coconut flakes.

It costs P450 for the 5.5″ pan that’s good for two, and P1,500 for the 9×7 party pan.
