All About Strawberry

Manila-based business All About Strawberry delivers fresh strawberries picked by local Benguet farmers to customers around Metro Manila three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

They sell king berries in three sizes: marble size (250 g – P80, 500 g – P150, 1 kg – P300); jumbo size (250 g – P135, 500 g – P270, 1 kg – P530); and super jumbo (250 g – P150, 500 g – P295, 1 kg – P580). All About Strawberry also sells sweet charlie (choga) strawberries in 250 g (P100), 500 g (P195), and 1 kg (P385) containers.

Sweet charlie strawberries are usually smaller in size and sweeter, making these commercially available berries ideal for snacking. King strawberries are slightly bigger and have a tangier flavor profile, which make them ideal for baking purposes and dessert needs. They also have a longer shelf life.

Fresh and Green

Online business Fresh and Green offers a weekly batch harvest of fresh strawberries from Benguet Province, with a price of P165 per 250 g pack of their jumbo king strawberries.

Fresh and Green also sells California-based company Driscoll’s fresh blueberries in 170 g packs for P359, and their fresh strawberries for P587 per 500 g pack. They note that other brands may be used, subject to availability.

Fresh Harvest Manila

Fresh Harvest Manila sources their fresh, organic blueberries and strawberries from Benguet farms. The blueberries, which are available only on Wednesdays and Saturdays, come in 250 g (P200), 500 g (P370), and 1 kg (P720) packs.

Their sweet charlie strawberries go for P200, marble king berries for P145, assorted king berries for P145, big jumbo king berries for P250, and super jumbo king berries for P280 per 500-gram pack.

Igorot Fresh Produce

For fresh produce handpicked by Igorot farmers from Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet, check out Igorot Fresh Produce’s menu – they sell three packs of strawberries for just P220. There are also super jumbo king (P300), king jumbo (P265), sweet charlie (P180), and marble sweet charlie (P150) strawberries available per half kilo. You can also get local blueberries for P180 per 100 g packs, depending on availability.

Always Fresh PH

For your source of imported Driscoll’s berries, Always Fresh PH offers strawberries (P530), blueberries (P400), and blackberries (P420) in packs.
