Gram's fluffy Japanese souffle pancakes are covered in milk tea cream and chewy pearls

Gram Café and Pancakes is offering a new way to enjoy their signature Japanese soufflé pancakes: with boba pearls.

Gram’s limited edition Tsunami Boba Pancake features three of the Japanese café’s fluffy, soft soufflé pancakes, stacked atop one another. In between each layer and generously slathered on top is a light, silky tea-based cream, which mildly tastes like Earl Grey tea.

The pancake stack, which is also dusted with powdered sugar, is topped with a heaping scoop of chewy, sweet tapioca pearls; perfect for fans of milk tea and fluffy pancakes. Note: The pancakes are a bit smaller than palm-sized.

The Tsunami Boba Pancake, which is available starting June 11, costs P395 for dine-in orders. An additional P15 will be charged for takeout and delivery orders, due to the packaging.

Only 30 servings of their limited edition item will be served daily until June 30. Customers can place their pre-orders or same-day orders via SMS at 09267017774.

Japan’s Gram Café and Pancakes opened their first Metro Manila branch in SM Megamall on February 2020. After closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic, the café reopened for pickup and delivery orders in May. – Rappler.com
