Kenny Rogers Roasters is hopping on the plant-based train with the launch of two new meat-free items on their menu, using Beyond Meat’s vegan burgers.
Starting Monday, June 14, Kenny Rogers offers a hefty, vegetarian-friendly Kenny’s Beyond Burger – made with Beyond Meat’s thick, meaty, grilled plant-based burger patty, topped with mayo, cheese, tomato, and fresh lettuce, and then sandwiched by soft whole-wheat burger buns. If you like the smoky taste of Beyond Meat’s burger patty and enjoy filling sandwiches, this is for you. It costs P295.
Are you a fan of Kenny Rogers’ signature mashed potato side dish? Try out their new Beyond Mashed Potato (P295), featuring the fast-food chain’s soft, creamy mashed potatoes and Beyond Meat’s chunky, grilled plant-based patty on top. Everything is doused in Kenny Rogers’ thick and flavorful mushroom gravy, making for a satisfying, savory dish.
Beyond Meat is a Los Angeles-based company that produces plant-based meat substitutes. Their vegan non-GMO burger patty is rich in plant-based protein, has less saturated fat, no cholesterol, and is free from antibiotics and hormones.
