This ube-flavored, New York-style cheesecake is topped with homemade leche flan!

When leche flan, ube, and cheesecake combine, you get local bakery The Tartoise’s best-selling indulgent dessert: the leche flan ube cheesecake.

Two Filipino classics and one crowd-favorite dessert merge for this multilayered treat – atop the buttery graham crust is a dense, thick, and creamy New York-style tart cheesecake that’s flavored with real ube, topped with a homemade leche flan that’s soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The decadent cake is finished off with a splash of light syrup.

The Tartoise’s leche flan ube cheesecake costs P380 for the 5″ size and P980 for the 8″ size.

The Tartoise also offers a creme brûlée cheesecake that’s equally good, creamy, and tart, topped with a caramelized layer of torched sugar. It costs P330 for the 5″ size and P830 for the 8″ one.

The Tartoise is located in New Manila, Quezon City. The home bakery’s goods are freshly-baked every day. They accept a one to two-day lead time for cakes. Customers can place their orders via Instagram or SMS at 09178373594/09178797177. – Rappler.com
