Ramen restaurant Mendokoro Ramenba has finally let the public in on a secret – their Bonifacio Global City branch actually carries two exclusive, off-menu ramen flavors.
Mendokoro’s second branch, which opened in 2018 following its OG branch in Salcedo Village, offers a secret Curry Tsukemen and Tantan Maze Soba.
Recommended for Japanese curry lovers, the Curry Tsukemen combines a spice powerhouse of turmeric, cumin, ginger, coriander, and fresh/dried chilies, made from scratch by their sister restaurant Kazunori Japanese Restaurant.
For fans of spicy noodles, Mendokoro also has the Tantan Maze Soba, which is their dry, nutty-flavored ramen available in 5 levels of spiciness. They describe it as their “soba take on the famous tantanmen, with a kick.”
Mendokoro’s BGC branch can seat twice as many customers than their Makati City branch, with a “significantly faster” waiting time.
They’re located at the RCBC Icon Plaza on 26th Street, corner 6th Avenue. They’re open from 10 am to 11 pm daily. – Rappler.com
