Panda Express has finally added one of their famed staples to their Philippine menu – the honey walnut shrimp – available starting Monday, March 15, at their SM North EDSA and SM Megamall branches.
The American-Chinese chain’s signature pescatarian-friendly dish features crispy, tempura-battered shrimp wok-tossed in a sweet, syrupy honey sauce and crushed glazed walnuts for an extra crunch. The premium entrée first landed on Panda Express’ US menu in 2010.

The honey walnut shrimp is available as a meal, ala carte, or tray. Panda Express’ serving sizes include The Bowl (P195), which includes 1 entreé and 1 side, the Plate (P275), which includes 2 entreés and 1 side, and the Bigger Plate (P350), which includes 3 entreés and 1 side. These 3 options are available in small, medium, and big sizes.
It’ll cost an additional P70 per entrée order for the small, P140 for the medium, and for the large, P230. For the family tray, which costs P1,200 and includes 3 large entreés and 2 large sides, an additional P440 will be incurred.
The new item is available for dine-in, takeout, and Metro Manila delivery via GrabFood and foodpanda.– Rappler.com
