Local artisanal ice cream brand Papa Diddi’s has introduced a new exclusive flavor for July, the silvanas ice cream pint, which features the famous, well-loved meringue cookie from Dumaguete City.
Papa Diddi’s merges two Pinoy faves – ice cream and pastries – into one creamy, buttery dessert, made with its signature carabao milk’s ice cream. It’s flavored with silvanas’ distinct buttercream for a mildly sweet, smooth base, and is mixed in with chewy, chunky silvana meringue bits. Everything is topped off with swirls of buttercream, crunchy roasted cashews for texture, and more bits of silvanas for a multi-textural, creamy treat.
Papa Diddi’s silvanas flavor is exclusive to Pint Club subscribers only. The Pint Club is Papa Diddi’s own ice cream subscription service that surprises customers with two pints of Papa Diddi’s latest unique flavor every month. Both pints are delivered to customers’ doorsteps in an insulated bag. The exclusive flavors are not available commercially in stores.
For a three-month subscription, each pint costs P750, making for a total of P2,250. Six months equal P700 a pint for P4,200, and 12 months equal P650 a pint for P7,800 all in all. Customers can cancel anytime.
According to the website, the Pint Club mystery flavors always aim to “push boundaries on what is possible in an ice cream,” using only fresh produce and ingredients from local farms, markets, and gardens.
“We make sure to develop flavors with universal appeal,” Papa Diddi’s said. Previous Pint Club flavors include tipsy s’mores (made with chocolate, marshmallow, and rhum), mango latik, halo-halo, and chocomansi.
Papa Diddi’s ice cream is handmade from its own local creamery, made in small batches from scratch to ensure freshness.
Pint Club members are also eligible for exclusive benefits, like discounts on regular Papa Diddi’s flavors and some freebies featuring partner local brands.
