Shakey’s Pizza to open first branch in Singapore

Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc., the company behind the Philippines pizza fast-food chain, is now venturing into Southeast Asia with the opening of their first branch in Singapore.

Shakey’s signed a 7-year franchising agreement with Singapore’s Brenrich, starting with their first store in Lucky Plaza Mall along Orchard Road. It is set to open in 2021, either in the late second quarter or early third quarter of the year.

Shakey’s Singapore branch will be serving the complete menu – thin-crust pizza, chicken, and mojos included – with tweaks on certain items to comply with halal standards.

Shakey’s Pizza currently has 3 stores outside the Philippines in Dubai. They have 242 branches located around the Philippines. – Rappler.com
