Starbucks Philippines has hopped on the plant-based train, launching 3 new vegetarian-friendly food items available starting Tuesday, January 5.
Starbucks’ new plant-based classic lasagna (P195) is a meat-free take on the Italian staple, using plant-based ground pork for the Bolognese sauce as well as dairy-free cheese and Italian spices.
There’s also a plant-based mince roll (P95), made with a flaky pastry crust on the outside and a plant-based ground “beef” patty and dairy-free cheese sauce on the inside.
For something sweeter, Starbucks also has a BBQ mochi bun (P85), which is a soft, chewy mochi bun filled with a savory-sweet, plant-based Asian BBQ meat filling.
The menu additions come 4 months after Starbucks launched new dairy-free beverages made with oat milk.
