Whatever the reason, vegan brand Super Scoops is here to help you feel like you’re not missing out, especially if you’ve always been a fan of ube ice cream!

Their newest dairy-free flavor, Ube Bliss, is a 100% plant-based alternative to the classic childhood favorite, made with real and pure ube halaya. Instead of cow’s milk, Super Scoops uses coconut milk sourced from local farmers and soy milk for their vegan ice cream. It’s also cholesterol-free.

Super Scoops’ bright purple Ube Bliss flavor is creamy, thick, and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness. The nutty, sweet taste of purple yam (taro) is very prominent and is complemented by the milkiness of the coconut. It’s a delicious and worthy substitute to the Pinoy classic that even non-vegans or the lactose-tolerant may prefer over its dairy counterpart.

Other ingredients include soy bean extract, water, cane sugar, corn oil, inulin, water, sugar, ube puree, xanthan gum, natural taro flavor, ube extract, and salt. Super Scoops usually uses coconut sugar for their other vegan flavors, but white cane sugar is used for the Ube Bliss.

A 16-ounce pint of Super Scoops’ Ube Bliss costs P350. Customers can place their orders for same-day pickups or next-day deliveries via The SuperFood Grocer’s website.
