Thirteen restaurants in Metro Manila will be releasing from September 17 to 19 specially-curated set meals that’ll only be available for takeout.
“HAIN: Takeaway, Together,” organized by UNKNOWN, brings together Angel’s Kitchen, The Bowery NYC Comfort Food, Lampara, OTO, Borough, Nic’s Park Terraces, Hai Shin Lou, Futur:st, Square One Hospitality, Cheech & Chang Hong Kong Roasts, TETSUO, Mijo Comfort Food, and The Bistro by Element Boutique Hotel.
Pre-orders for the first edition opened on September 9, with orders open until September 19. The exclusive sets – which cost P1,500 each – are available via the HAIN official website. According to UNKNOWN, 15% of sales from HAIN will go to Rise Against Hunger PH.

“The idea behind HAIN stemmed from our desire to help the local food and beverage businesses that have been affected by these extraordinary times,” said restaurateur Samantha Nicole in a release to media.
Future Fresh, Manila-based indoor farm, will be providing participating restaurants with hydroponically-grown greens.
Each HAIN kit includes a Singleton of Dufftown 12YO Pocket Single Malt Scotch and a custom cocktail recipe from the participating restaurant.
Takeout diners can also access a video that’ll walk them through each restaurant and Singleton cocktail options.
Kits can be purchased via the HAIN website. – Rappler.com
