MANILA, Philippines – In line with the Miss Philippines Earth 2013 pageant’s water conservation theme, this 18-year-old Conservatory of Music Voice-Musical Theater student says, “Fun runs for a cause and social media will be a big help in promoting water cooperation by adding up people’s knowledge about water shortage and how serious it is today.

“Another simple way is to cut our shower time if possible and never throw any waste in our bodies of water.”

Describe your childhood/growing-up years (8-13 years old):

I have a loving and happy family. I am the only girl of 5 and all of the family members are very supportive.

Most memorable moment:

When my father died and when I won Binibining Caloocan 2013.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?

To raise awareness on the importance of nature particularly fresh water and advocating for the sustainable management of resources with focus on water cooperation, challenges and benefits with the help of LGUs and NGOs.
