Ms PH Earth Candon City: Dianne Tongol
MANILA, Philippines - In line with the Miss Philippines Earth 2013 pageant's water conservation theme, this 21-year-old clinical meetings coordinator and registered nurse says, "There’s only one thing I could share and it is to stop using water as a means of business or if they do they should at least consider the fact that water is owned by everyone and every living thing that resides on this planet."
Describe your childhood/growing-up years (8-13 years old):
I still remember when I was younger, my mother brought me with her every time she went out of the house to pray the holy rosary.
Most memorable moment:
When I heard the news that my father died. It’s a memorable experience because it’s the time when my physical and spiritual strength was tested.
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My environmental advocacy is to stop sacrificing environment as a part of the commercialization of a certain city or province. I chose this because this spreads awareness to the group who has the highest influence and authority in our environment which is the government.
