Ms PH Earth Rodriguez, Rizal: Nicole Grimalt
NAME: Nicole A. Grimalt
MUNICIPALITY OR CITY: Rodriguez, Rizal
How she describes her childhood: My childhood years were fun. It was an experience that made me aware of reality. I experienced all the conveniences in life but it didn’t last for too long. Also, just like anybody’s childhood years, I was able to experience playing and having fun with my siblings and friends.
Lessons learned from childhood: I’ve learned that nothing is permanent in this world. Life is not about having the material things just to be happy. By simply having a supportive and kind family, happiness can be achieved. I’ve also learned that practicing your set of values at an early age will not only help you to do well but will also do you good as you grow older.
Most memorable moment: My most memorable moment was when I won as Binibining Rodriguez in 2012, which was my first pageant. I didn’t know that I had the potential to be a title holder. Because of it, I’ve realized that I could be someone who has confidence. That’s when I started to believe in myself. It made me a better person and motivated me to enhance what I have.
Environmental advocacy: My environmental advocacy is to preserve and rehabilitate our forests. The importance of an eco-park is to promote its essence and our responsibility for our nature. – Rappler.com
