Miss Universe PH 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in Top 3 of final

MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe Philippines Pia Wurtzbach is among the Top 3 contestants who made it to the final.

During the question and answer portion, Pia was asked if the US should have a military base in the Philippines. She answered, “I think that the US and the PH have a good relationship with each other. We’ve been colonized by the Americans and we have their culture. Philippines is very welcoming with the Americans and I don’t see any problem with that at all.”

The Miss Universe coronation night was held on Sunday, December 20 (Monday, December 21 in Manila) at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The show was hosted by Emmy Award-winning TV personality and comedian Steve Harvey and actress Roselyn Sanchez.

Among the panel of judges were Emmitt Smith, Niecy Nash, Olivia Culpo, and Perez Hilton.
