Both H&M and Kenzo made the announcement on social media with a video, saying that the collection will launch worldwide in selected stores and online on November 3.

Humberto Leon, who has been the creative director of Kenzo with Carol Lim since 2011, told H&M Magazine on the collaboration: ”We wanted to really tell the story of the brand and of us. Together with H&M, we will invite all the customers and fans to the real Kenzo world.”

Before Kenzo, Humberto and Carol created Opening Ceremony, a New York boutique that has since expanded worldwide and online.

H&M has been collaborating with high-end designers for years, including Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons in 2008 and Alexander Wang in 2014.

Last year, the Swedish brand that offers affordable fashion collaborated with Balmain on a collection designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing. The campaign photos featured models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Jourdan Dunn. – Rappler.com
