MANILA, Philippines – Inspired by global trends that are relatable to the Filipino and appeal to his sense of fashion, adventure and individuality — this summarizes what Penshoppe Spring-Summer 2014 is about, as evident in their hugely successful show at Philippine Fashion Week (#PhFW) last Saturday, October 26.
Prints and color invaded the runway from start to finish, ranging from strong hues to pastel lights. Footwear worn by the men in black, gray and white also appealed to the audience [I saw more than one person try to photograph a male model’s feet!].
The show’s pace was just right, the styling no-nonsense, the stage design sleek and modern. The prints were refreshing — inside Halls 2 and 3, it felt like summer was here already.
