MANILA, Philippines – Fancy upscale cats, a topsy-turvy Egyptian-inspired set, a flying poo balloon – it's Katy Perry's world, and we are just living in it, at least for the few hours KatyCats had with her at her Philippine concert Thursday, May 7. As we've come to expect, Katy was in top form, working the crowd to a fever pitch with a strong opener – her mega hit "Roar," in a shimmery purple suit with glowing cat eyes, with lights woven into her hairdo.
An Egyptian-inspired look was next – a lighter purple bodysuit to complement the pyramids and the golden horse that carried Katy onstage for songs like "Dark Horse" and "ET."
From dark and glamorous, Katy went cute and flirty in a pink suit (complete with a tail).
Katy changed into her fish outfit next – she would later pick a fan wearing the very same outfit to join her onstage and teach her Filipino words. (WATCH: Katy Perry thrills Pinoy fan onstage in PH concert)
Katy looked like a fresh field of flowers in a bright green dress, signaling a slowdown to the frantic energy and effectively accompanying numbers like "By The Grace of God" and "Unconditionally," which she dedicated to Filipino fans.
Rapidly picking up the pace again, Katy changed into a sassy two-piece with a bright green wig, to perform megahits "Teenage Dream" and "California Gurls."
But she saved the biggest gown for the evening's show-stopping moment – a supercharged rendition of anthem "Firework," complete with a rain of confetti and a dazzling yet brief light show.
"It's been a long way, and we are so grateful...hopefully you leave here feeling uplifted...hopefully you have a little more joy than you had when you came," Katy told the excited crowd.
