MANILA, Philippines – RuPaul’s Drag Race star Manila Luzon is taking her many fabulous skills to the academe with the launch of Manila’s School of Drag, a masterclass through online learning platform Nas Academy, where she will “spills the secret of her global stardom” and “help Pinoy drag queens and enthusiasts unleash their power from within.”
In a teaser video for the class launched on Monday, February 28, Luzon, a RuPaul favorite who competed on the drag queen reality show in 2011, 2012, and 2018, said, “I’m going to teach you how to do your drag makeup…. I’m going to teach you how to style yourself, how to choose the right clothes, how to dress the part, but most importantly, how to use your body to your advantage.”
“I look forward to our quarterly meet-the-creator sessions, where I can share more tricks of the trade and encouragement that can help in [participants’] careers as make-up artists, stylists, performers, and content creators,” the Fil-American phenom added.
