MANILA, Philippines – Would you trust the Internet to name your baby girl?

Stephen McLaughlin decided to do just that for his unborn child. By creating NameMyDaughter.com, he gave complete strangers the chance to choose a name for his daughter.

But, of course – possibly after his wife brought him to his senses – Stephen says the final name of the infant will ultimately depend on them, the parents.

In 3 easy steps, anyone can send in a suggestion for the precious little girl’s name. Note that inappropriate submissions will be removed from the site.

We already have some peculiar names in today’s society, and with 6,171 first names and 1,620 middle names to choose from on the site as of this writing, you can bet that the suggestions got pretty outrageous.

A few of the submissions that didn’t make it to the top 20 are: Old Yellar, The Sims 3, Cupasoup, WackyTaco693 and -1″ OR “29”=”0.
