ILOILO CITY, Philippines – Iloilo City is emerging as a bright spot for trade and commerce, said businessman Felix Tiu.

“The economy in Iloilo is very vibrant right now…Iloilo has been like a sleeping city before. We are very lucky and blessed that some of the big names in the industry here in the Philippines came to Iloilo,” he added.
Tiu, head of the Iloilo City Trade and Investment Board, said that investors are taking note of the city’s potentials for growth, particularly in the sectors of business process outsourcing (BPO), tourism, real estate, and education. – Rappler.com
