PAMPANGA, Philippines – Wave hello.

Balloons of different shapes and sizes filled the open grounds of Barangay Prado Siongco in Lubao, Pampanga.

Formerly held at Clark around February, the venue was moved due to the increasing air congestion at the Clark Freeport.

The festival, organized by the newly formed Pilipinas Hot Air Balloon Festival Inc. (PHABFI) in coordination with the Department of Tourism (DOT), expects thousands to attend the event from April 10-13.

The event featured 21 countries with over 30 balloons taking flight in the morning and afternoon. Asides from the balloons, there were other attractions, such as the Hot Air Night Glow, kite-flying, live bands, a food festival, and more. – Rappler.com
