#ShareIloilo: Miag-ao Church
ILOILO, Philippines – Nestled in the province of Iloilo, the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish Church built in 1786, survived wars, fires, earthquakes and revolutions.
Better known as Miag-ao Church, it is also called the Baroque fortress church because its thick walls served as haven against invaders.
Its one of 4 Baroque churches in the Philippines declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In these changing times, courage and clarity become even more important.
