FOOD: Yoshinoya hosts first Gyudon Festival with Buy-One, Get-One offer

Yoshinoya Philippines is celebrating its inaugural Gyudon Festival from Saturday, July 13 to Monday, July 15 by offering customers a Buy One, Get One promotion on its signature Gyudon Bowl! The promo is available for dine-in and take-out at all Yoshinoya branches and also for delivery.

Yoshinoya’s Gyudon Bowl is made from thinly-sliced beef and onions, simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, and then served over white rice. The festival will also feature new menu items like the Spicy Gyudon Bowl, Cheesy Gyudon Bowl, and Jumbo Bento, paired with sides such as Chicken Karaage and Gyoza.

ART: Space Encounters Gallery and Everything’s Fine PH’s group show from July 12 to August 9

Space Encounters Gallery and bookshop-gallery Everything’s Fine PH will be hosting a group show, where over 12 artists will showcase their artistic takes on the ongoing tensions in the West Philippine Sea. With the prompt, “The battle for our shared waters is a battle that is also cultural” in mind, these artists were asked to rework a Philippine map.

The show will officially open on July 12 and will run until August 9. The exhibition will be held at Space Encounters Gallery, located at Unit 7C, Padilla Bldg., F. Ortigas Jr. Rd., Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
