Studio 24: Visit the PSID annual exhibit!
Studio 24 challenges designers in proving that in interior design, size does not matter. It is the very first interior design exhibit that will showcase not just a 24-square-meter room, but a 24-square-meter studio unit

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine School of Interior Design, the country’s premier design school, will be holding its annual Interior Design Exhibit showcasing the noteworthy designs wrought from years of rigid training.

This year, Batch 2015 will be presenting an exhibit entitled STUDIO 24 – a concept that will challenge the designers in proving that in interior design, size does not matter. It is the very first interior design exhibit that will showcase not just a 24-square-meter room, but a 24-square-meter studio unit, and is considered the biggest in the country to date.

Around 111 graduating students divided into 24 profiled groups will showcase 24 studio unit creations, each with 24 square meters of space in 24 different styles. This exhibit will feature creative and innovative ways of addressing the real estate’s hunger for space without compromising function and aesthetics.

The 24 designs are divided into 3 galleries of Ladies’ Lairs, Perfect Pairings, and Man Caves, with each gallery showcasing 8 different designs for different client profiles.

The gallery of Ladies’ Lairs will showcase designs that are fit for different types of women, suiting their personalities, careers, and interests, with each booth visualizing a studio unit for a pastry chef, a socialite, a romantic writer, an artist, a classy dame, a bachelorette, a shy violet, and a comic geek.

The second gallery is called Perfect Pairings – studio units that are fit for duos like couples, sisters, brothers, friends, with each booth visualizing a studio unit for retirees, power couple, newlyweds, travel team, brothers in arms, spinster sisters, gay best friends, and college buddies.

Finally, the gallery of Man Caves showcase designs that are fit for different types of men, also suiting their personalities, careers, and interests, each booth visualizing studio units for a refined gentleman, a mechanic, a young urban professional, a sports buff, a backpacker, an anime aficionado, a goth, and an old collector.

The exhibit will run from October 3 to 31, 2015 and will be held at the Ronac Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Magallanes in Makati City. Admission is free. – Rappler.com
