MANILA, Philippines – When you hear the term PWD, what comes to mind? Wheelchairs? Canes? Backbraces? Maybe even a nurse or assistant who’s always by their side?

But the truth is, many persons with disabilities don’t physically look disabled. Some have psychological conditions, or developmental disorders, or other issues that simply aren’t obvious to the naked eye. Sometimes, that makes it even harder for them to get the help they need.
