#FloodPH alert: Parts of NCR flooded after heavy downpour

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Metro Manila were flooded on Saturday, July 25, after a heavy downpour. 

Philippine weather bureau PAGASA also issued an advisory at 5:55 pm, warning residents of a thunderstorm affecting ‪Metro Manila‬ (North Caloocan, Valenzuela, Marikina, Quezon City).

It was forecast to affect nearby areas like ‪Bataan‬ (Bagac, Morong), ‪Rizal‬, ‪Laguna‬, ‪Batangas‬, ‪Bulacan‬, ‪Pampanga‬, ‪NuevaEcija,‬ and ‪Zambales‬, for two to 3 hours.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods. Keep monitoring for updates,” PAGASA said in a tweet.

In Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the following areas are flooded:
