#FloodPH: Cebu emergency hotlines

CEBU CITY, Philippines – On July 1 and 2, several areas in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Talisay had been affected by massive flooding.

As early as May, state weather bureau PAGASA had warned local governments to prepare for La Niña, or the weather phenomenon that produces more rainfall and wet weather.

PAGASA has issued a thunderstorm warning over several towns in Cebu.
