Disaster preparedness posters and flyers
To raise awareness on the dangers and recommended actions for regarding natural disasters and hazards, various government agencies have produced materials that the general public can view and use.
Some of these publications are the following:
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) released a guidebook that offers a simplified susceptibility assessment of rain-induced, shallow-depth landslides.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) released in 2005 a preparedness guide on what the public should do before, during, and after an earthquake.
To aid students, Phivolcs also released in 2005 a step-by-step guide on how to conduct an earthquake drill in schools.
The Phivolcs released in 2004 an illustrated poster describing the cause and effects of a tsunami.
A table of tsunami alert levels in the country was also released by Phivolcs, complete with a guide on threats and actions for each level.
