MANILA, Philippines – Tired of the potholes that have formed on most of the metro’s major roads because of the monsoon rain?

Now all that Twitter ranting may be put to good use. The Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Friday launched a social media campaign to crowdsource reports on rogue potholes and other road damage.

If you spot a pothole — or worse, if you’ve been victim of a pothole, send a tweet to the PCDSPO (Twitter handle: @PCDSPO) using the hashtag #lubak2normal.

It’s one of the government’s many efforts to be more active on social media.

The PCDSPO says the information will be forwarded to the DPWH for “immediate action.”
