MANILA, Philippines – While Typhoon Nona (international name Melor) shifted course and spared Metro Manila its wrath, it still dumped heavy rains that triggered flooding in parts of the country’s capital.
Irked netizens took to social media to vent their frustrations over long lines in terminals and heavy traffic on a payday Tuesday, December 15. Netizens also reported flooding in railways, which hampered train operations.
Flooded roads were reported in Quezon City, Buendia, EDSA, and Cubao.
