LAGUNA, Philippines —Ramil Hernandez, Nacionalista Party (NP) standard bearer, was proclaimed governor of the “Resort Capital of the Philippines” on Tuesday, May 10 at the provincial capitol, winning a total of 603,182 votes.
Despite a delay in the transmission of votes from Rizal, San Pedro and San Pablo City, supporters of Hernandez celebrated as the partial results showed a wide gap between Hernandez and his rivals.
Transmission resumed at 9:00 AM. Results from Rizal were transmitted manually and results from San Pedro came in a few minutes later.
Transmission of results in Laguna reached 100% when the results from San Pablo City were delivered at 10:12am.
