#FloritaPH: Help map critical reports

Typhoon Neoguri threatens to bring rain across Western Visayas and Southern Luzon. Use this Project Agos Alert Map to find and map the latest reports.

MANILA, Philippines – Typhoon Florita (international name Neoguri) has the potential to bring in heavy rains and induce landslides in MIMAROPA (Region IV-B), as well as parts of Southern Luzon and Western Visayas, as it inches towards Japan.

According to independent weather monitoring agency Weather Philippines, the typhoon could become a Super Typhoon by Monday afternoon, July 7, as winds may reach 250 kilometers per hour (kph). (READ the latest #WeatherAlert). 

As it continues to move northwest, it is expected to strengthen monsoon rains in MIMAROPA, Panay, Guimaras and Negros Occidental from Sunday to Monday. PAGASA also announced that Western Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas will experience monsoon rains.
