MANILA, Philippines – At 5, Sun Hongsheng experienced a tragic accident. He lost his arms to a high voltage power line.
But he did not lose his life.
Years later, he finds himself doing the seemingly impossible – swim with no arms. He is one of China’s greatest pride, as he trains for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.
He trains hard, devoting hours of drills in the pool. “I’m here because I want a better future,” he says.
