Can you help solve EDSA’s traffic headache?

A citizen suggests some ideas on how to solve Metro Manila's EDSA traffic headache

On Friday, October 31, Rappler received this email from citizen Chey Peralta:

I am a motorist and at times a bus commuter on EDSA. While stuck in traffic, I thought of several things that could possibly be done to fix the road bottleneck on this main road. I’ve been comparing the situation here to those abroad like Singapore and Australia. It might be different, but I believe that through determination we could do the same thing. We don’t have financial luxury, but we have the heart to help our country. Given the innate social concern of Filipinos, I believe that we can effect change and turn things around for the common good.

Attached is the list of my proposal. It is a compilation of various solutions we can do. I know it’s not easy but if we get the society involved, let the public know of the plans, people will cooperate. It is evident on how the Filipinos respond to calls for help in times of calamity and disaster. Everyone is eager to help and contribute in any way they can.
