
MANILA, Philippines – In the social media capital of the world, are the youth really harnessing the power of technology to create the future they want?
This is the question Rappler puts forth through its regular MovePH social media workshops.
On February 16, Rappler, in partnership with the Holy Angel University, will hold its a workshop with the them “#MovePampanga: Social media for social good.”
The workshop will be held from 9 am to 4 pm.
“#MovePampanga: Social media for social good” aims to inspire the youth to use technology and social media to instigate changes in their communities and the country.
Rappler CEO Maria Ressa will speak to students about the changing media landscape, how technology has changed the way we view the world, and how to take action.
Other speakers are Rappler’s veteran and young journalists, including:
