'Please tell your father not to execute her'
Manila, Philippines — The  children of Mary Jane Veloso, a Filipina facing execution in Indonesia, have asked the help of Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s youngest son Kaesang Pangarep.
Kaesang, tulungan niyo, po, yung mama ko. Sabihin niyo, po, sa papa niyo na tulungan niyo; ‘wag niyo pong bitayin yung mama ko,” said 12-year old Mark Daniel in a video message with his brother Mark Darren, 6. (Kaesang, please help my mother. Please tell your father not to execute her.)
They said, through social media, they would like to reach the 19-year-old Kaesang Pangarep, who is known to be active on Twitter as @kaesangp.
On Thursday night, April 23, the Veloso children are going to fly to Indonesia with their grandmother, Celia, to meet Mary Jane. (READ: Sons to reunite with Filipina maid on death row in Indonesia)

Mary Jane is facing Indonesia’s death row after being convicted in 2010 for attempting to smuggle 2.6 kilograms of heroin into Indonesia. According to her parents, Mary Jane was tricked by her recruiter Maria Kristina Sergio, who also happened to be her godsister, into bringing the suitcase containing drugs.
