FIFA bosses on Monday, July 20 agreed to hold a special election scheduled on February 26, 2016 to replace beleaguered president Sepp Blatter, who said he would not be a candidate. The group of officials also made recommendations for reforms in the global football organization that has been rocked by corruption scandals over the years. The veteran president – who has been in charge since 1998 – hailed the reforms being recommended but refused to accept one recommendation to declare his salary. Blatter was also momentarily pranked before the start of the press conference on Monday, when British comedian Simon Brodkin went up to Blatter and threw fake dollar bills at him. Brodkin was later hauled away by security guards.
